Speed, Performance, and Connectivity Terms

These are the terms most closely tied to how fast and reliably a device operates.

Latency

The delay between sending a request and receiving a response, measured in milliseconds (ms). In gaming or video calls, high latency causes noticeable lag. Lower is better.

Bandwidth

The maximum amount of data that can travel through a connection at one time, usually measured in Mbps or Gbps. More bandwidth means more data can move simultaneously, which helps households with many devices.

Firmware
